Calculate your redundancy payout

This service from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) allows you to calculate how much statutory redundancy you are entitled to based on your circumstances.

How to use this service

To use the service, simply fill in your age and the number of complete years you have worked for your current employer. The calculator will then show how much statutory redundancy pay you are entitled to.

There is also a guide that explains how the figure is calculated.

Please note that you cannot currently make calculations for anyone aged over 80 years old. If you are trying to make a calculation over that age, we recommend you enter an age between 61 and 80, along with the correct length of service and weekly pay. This will give you the correct amount of statutory redundancy pay you are entitled to.
