How to use this service

Are you one of around five million people in the UK currently at risk of flooding? You can find out using the Environment Agency's Flood Map by simply entering your postcode into the box provided. Click 'Go' and a detailed map of your area will be returned.

You can also find out how your home insurance might be affected, about how flooding can occur miles away from rivers or the sea, and how you can receive early warnings of floods.
