Contact Student Finance England for an update on your application for student finance.
If you're the parent or partner of a student, the student will need to give 'consent to share' before Student Finance England can speak to you about their account - see 'Accessing your student finance account: passwords, IDs and security' to find out how.
Student Finance England apologises for the difficulty customers are having getting through to their contact centres.
This year, they have received record numbers of applications and an unprecedented number of callers. They acknowledge that this will be a worrying time for those students affected, and are focussing resources on making sure applications and callers are dealt with as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, if you've applied for finance as a full-time student you can login to your account to check the status of your application.
